• 2 lbs ground pork
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 4-5 roma tomatoes
  • 1 bag bean sprouts
  • 2 sticks lemongrass
  • 2 tsp spicy bean chili paste
  • 2 tsp red curry
  • 2 packs of beef balls
  • 1 cup of shrimp
  • 1 1/2 gallon of water
  • 2 cans beef broth
  • 1-2 bags of rice noodles

Optional Condiments

Fish sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, limes, chopped green onions, minced cilantro, and/or chili oil.


Meat Sauce

Heat up 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large pan. Cook the ground pork until it is brown. Then add the roma tomatoes and cook until soften. Then add the red curry and spicy bean chili paste. Stir until it is even.


Bruise the lemon grass and cut them to 1 inch. Wrap the lemongrass with a kitchen string to keep them together. Combine the beef broth, lemongrass, and water together. Wait to boil. Cook the meatballs and shrimp until they float.


Boil water and cook the noodles per instructions. Drain.


Put noodles in a bowl. On top of the noodles, add the meat sauce mixture, meatballs, and shrimp. Pour the broth over the noodles. Serve with your desired condiments. Enjoy!
