- 1 medium shallots minced (save half for gravy)
- 1 butter-stick
- Other half minced shallots
- 1 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3 tsp chicken bouillon
- Other half of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Sunnyside Up Eggs
- 2-4 eggs
& cooked rice!!
Mix the ground beef, panko, shallots, Worcestershire, salt and pepper, and egg in a medium size bowl thoroughly.
Next, we roll the meat into balls and then flatten the meat into patties.
In a small pan on medium heat, melt the butter and shallots for about 15 minutes or until the shallots is golden brown. Cooking it for this long is very necessary because it grabs the flavors and enhances it.
In medium size pan, heat 1 tbsp oil on medium heat. Flip the patties after 3 minutes. Cook for another 3 minutes or crispy brown.
Now add salt and pepper, chicken broth, chicken bouillon, slurry and stir for another 3 minutes. Set aside.
In a small pan, heat up 1 tbsp oil and crack the eggs. Cook for about 3-5 minutes on medium heat.
To assemble the loco moco, plate the rice, then patty, egg, and gravy in that order.
